Financial Info
Benefits
Most people entering a nursing home will qualify for the
state pension. Additionally, most
people will also qualify for Attendance Allowance (A.A.),
a non means tested benefit,
currently paid at a rate of up to £64.50
per week. Please ask for details. We will be more
than
happy to request a claim form and handle your claim from
start to finish or submit a review if
you are already in receipt of the lower rate.
Additionally,
everyone paying their own fees is entitled to be assessed
for the element of their
“nursing care” to be funded under the provisions
of the NHS Funded Registered Nursing Care
(FRNC). Essentially this means a further non means tested
award of FRNC will be made to you
amounting to either LOW £40.00,
MED £87.00 or HIGH £139.00 per week,
depending
on your assessed level of registered nurse need. We will
automatically deal with your claim.
For those people
who might qualify for assistance with funding, we are one
of the few homes in Wirral to qualify for Wirral Social
Services 3* status.
Fees
Our fees are quoted per week, charged calendar monthly
in advance and are based on a 365 day year. Fees are normally
paid by standing order. You will receive full details together
with our Terms & Conditions before you arrive. Fees
include accommodation, full board, laundry and nursing
care. The only additional chargeable items would be newspapers,
hairdressing, dry cleaning, private healthcare and the
provision of any equipment not available / provided for
by NHS or other relevant body.
We will be happy to supply our current Terms on request.

The cost of rooms may vary depending on their size,
aspect and views, whether they are ground or first floor
and
whether they enjoy full or partial en-suite or have private
facilities. However, the standard of care and cleanliness remains
the same throughout the home and we are more than happy to
offer
anyone first refusal in choosing another
room when available.
If we can be of any further assistance or offer
any advice with regard to any issue including Attendance
Allowance (A.A.)
or NHS Funded Registered Nursing Care (FRNC), please do not
hesitate to contact us. Alternatively you could
